BAZILE, TONY VINCENT
Died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 1979 at Seventh Ward General Hospital, Hammond. He was 74, a native of Whitehall and a resident of Maurepas. Body at Thomas Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, with visiting from 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at St. Steven Catholic Church, Whitehall, at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by Father Thomas Quinvin. Burial in Whitehall Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Fontenot Bazile, Maurepas; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Vivian) Wales, Albany, and Mrs. Celestain (Jo Ann) Vicknair, Jr., Whitehall; four sons, John J. and Wendell A. Bazile, both of Whitehall, Elmo J. Bazile, Albany, and Clayton V. Bazile, Gonzales; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Richardson, Mrs. Louise Richardson, Mrs. Josephine Richardson, Mrs. Hazel Rushing and Mrs. Elizabeth St. Cyr, all of Springfield, and Mrs. Mable Gill, Albany; two brothers, Joseph Bazile, Whitehall, and Freddie Bazile, Springfield; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Mary Bazile; and a brother, Vincent Bazile.
