Elmo Bazile Obituary
Bazile, Elmo Joseph Elmo Joseph Bazile was born June 21, 1930, in Springfield and passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 76, a native of Whitehall and a resident of Albany. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and was retired from the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Bazile of Albany; son, Eugene J. Bazile of Prairieville; three daughters, Marcia Ballard, Patricia Owens and Monica Jackson, all of Albany; two brothers, Clayton Bazile of Gonzales and Wendell Bazile of Whitehall; sister, JoAnn Bazile of Whitehall; eight grandchildren, Hope, Shanon, Brandi, Gino, Brittany, Jaci, Alex and Matthew; and three great-grandchildren, Marley, Jayden and Alli. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Evelyn Bazile; brother, John Bazile; and sister, Vivian Wales.
Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home in Albany was on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Hammond. Entombment in Rose Memorial Mausoleum.
