A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68, a native of Maurepas, a resident of Gonzales and a retired warehouseman.
Visiting at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales, on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Entombment in Holy Rosary Church Mausoleum, St. Amant.
Survived by his wife, Sylvia Jacob Bazile; daughter, Holly Thoms; two sons, Parnell and Tyron Bazile; sister, Joanne Vicknair; brother, Wendall Bazile; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Anthony V. Bazile; mother, Evelyn M. Bazile; sister, Vivian Wales; brothers, John and Elmo Bazlie; son, Blaine Bazile Sr.; and great-grandson, Adam J. Thoms. Pallbearers will be Parnell Bazile, Chase Bazile, David Bazile, Dustin Bazile, Beau Coupel and Kyle Guedry.
He was a great LSU football fan. He worked for Louisiana Industrial Garment for 33 years and Blues Auto Parts for 17 years. The family of Clayton would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who took extremely good care of him. Arrangements by Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home.
