   The ceremony was solemnized Wednesday, December 28, at the St. Josephs' Catholic church at French Settlement, La., with the Rev. Pedro Tonson officiating.

Wales, Vivian Marie Bazile A devotedly Christian wife and mother, Vivian Wales passed away on Monday, June 26, 2006, at her residence in Albany after a life well lived and a long illness. She was born on Aug. 12, 1932, in Whitehall, attended Maurepas High School, and graduated with the class of 1950. She participated faithfully at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Whitehall and later at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany. From 1970 until 1986, she served as secretary at Albany-Springfield Junior High School.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Glenn Wales; sons, James Wales, Lennie Wales and wife Dawn, and Lyle Wales and wife Lynn; daughters, Karen and husband Larry Dunnington, and Dawn and husband Steve LiRocchi. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Clayton, Wendell and Elmo Bazile; a sister, Jo Anne Bazile, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Evelyn Fontenot Bazile; and a brother, John Bazile.
Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, on Thursday, June 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Albany. Interment in the church cemetery.
