Died 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 66, a resident of Maurepas and a native of Whitehall. He was a retired school teacher and assistant principal at Maurepas High School and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at the funeral home 8 to 10:15 A.M. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Whitehall, at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Lefebvre. Interment in Whitehall Community Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Delores Mae Fontenot Bazile, Maurepas; two daughters and a son-in-law. Shelia
and Cecil Wilkinson, Maurepas, and Valerie Bazile, Maurepas; three sons, Allen Dale Bazile, Maurepas, David Wayne Bazile, French Settlement, and Donnel Joseph Bazile, Gonzales; two sisters, Vivian Wales, Albany, and JoAnn Vicknair, Maurepas; three brothers, Wendell Bazile, Maurepas.
