   The wedding will be an event or 4:30 p.m. July 6 in the chapel of the First Congregational church, Winnetke, with the Rev. Franklin R. Elliott officiating.
   Mrs. Robert Wakefield will be matron of honor for her sister. Groomsmen will be Frank and Jack Wamsley, twin brothers of the bridegroom. Roger Spielmann and Howard Hilton will serve as ushers.
   The bride-elect was graduated from New Trier High school, Winnetka, Ill. and, the University of Colorado where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.
   Mr. Wamsley is a graduate of Central High school, and the University of Colorado. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He served two years in the Navy with submarine service during World War II.

   Mr. and Mrs. Willson A. Spielmann, Winnetka, Ill., announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Beverly Karyl Spielmann, to Walter Franklin Wamsley, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Wamsley, 2238 S. Terwilleger blvd.
   The wedding was an event of 4;30 p.m. July 6 in the chapel of the First Congregational church, Winnetka, with the Rev. Franklin R. Elliott officiating. The church was decorated with white flowers.
   The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ice-blue lace ballerina-length dress and a cap of net, lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pale pink carnations and roses.
   Miss Helen Perrson was the bride's only attendant. Her dress was of pink taffeta under white organdy and she wore a pink lace Dutch cap. Her bouquet was of pink and blue carnations
   Groomsmen were Frank and Jack Wamsley. Roger Spielmann and Howard Hilton served as ushers.
   Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride were hosts at a reception in their home.
   After a wedding trip to Michigan, the couple will be at home in Chicago. For traveling, the bride wore a beige gabardine suit and natural straw sailor with brown accessories and a green orchid corsage.

Walter Franklin Wamsley, retired CFR insurance broker and longtime resident of Tulsa, died on July 1, 2018, at age 91. He was born July 18, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Walt graduated from Central High School, served in the US. Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He then attended the University of Colorado where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
After graduation he married Beverly Spielmann of Winnetka, Illinois, who preceded him in death in 1988. Together they raised five children: Georgia Rose, married to Randy Rose of Tulsa, OK; Nancy Steen, married to Brad Steen of Wichita Falls, TX; Barbra Blount, married to Mark Blount of Blytheville, AR; Sherry Romano, married to Rex Romano of Dallas, TX; and David Wamsley of Tulsa, OK. Walt is also survived by seven grandchildren: Katie Vestal and Lauren Rose; Sam
Steen; Linsey Gillam, David Blount, and Spencer Blount; and Kristen Romano; and five great grandchildren: Jett, Walt, and Pre Steen; and Eli and Emerson Gillam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Wamsley and Mary (Singleton) Wamsley and brother, Jack Wamsley. He is survived by one brother, Dr. Frank Wamsley and his wife,
JoAnn of Lawton, OK.
Walt worked in the insurance business in Tulsa until retirement. He enjoyed playing handball and golf for many years. He married Beverly Werelius of Sawyer, Michigan in 1994. She
preceded him in death in 2011.
Walt was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa for over 70 years.
A GREAT Dad, Papa, and Great Papa, he will be remembered and cherished forever.
