The engagement of Miss Singleton, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Singleton, of Martinsville, to John Lewis Wamsley, of Indianapolis has been announced. The wedding will take place September 3. Miss Singleton is a graduate at DePauw University.

Singleton of this city, and John Lewis Wamsley of Indianapolis were married at the bride's home Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the ceremony being said by the Rev. H. H. Allen, pastor of the M. E. Church. Miss Rose Singleton, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor and Dr. Paul Miller of Indianapolis best man. After a wedding trip to New York, Mr. and Mrs. Wamsley will make their home in Boston, Mass., where Mr. Wamsley will have charge of the Diamond Chain Company.

At the age of 17 was commissioned Lieutenant, the youngest officer in the U.S. Army Air Corp., during World War I. He was a graduate of Butler University at Indianapolis, IN, and the Harvard School of Business. He is a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, Tulsa Club, Engineering Club of Tulsa and The Tulsa Tennis Club. He is survived by:
