Died Tuesday at 9:40 a.m. in Seventh Ward General Hospital. He was 65 years old, a native of Abita Springs and a resident of Ponchatoula. Body at Thomas Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, where services will be held at 2
p.m. Wednesday conducted by the Rev. John M. Oswalt and Jack Winegart. Burial in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
Survived by three sons, Charles Griffin, Ponchatoula, Ronald Griffin and Claude Griffin, both of Denham
Springs; a daughter, Miss Earline Griffin, Denham Springs; four sisters, Miss Anne Griffin, Mrs. Hester Allen and Mrs. Ruby Nixon, all of Ponchatoula, and Mrs. Beatrice G. Jenkins, Hammond; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Otis Griffin.
