Vivian Geissler Murray, a homemaker, died Thursday at her home. She was 87. Mrs. Murray was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 50 years. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, Edward John and Gerald Edward Murray ; a daughter, Debra Murray Billiot; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.
