DURNIN, RAY E.
Died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 1982, at St. Helena Parish Hospital. He was 63, a native of St. Helena Parish and resident of Hillsdale. Visiting at McKnelly Funeral Home, Amite, from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. Helena Catholic Church, Amite, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial in Robert Cemetery.
Survived by his mother, Mrs. Emma Durnin, Hillsdale; wife, Mrs. Laura Strong Durnin, Hillsdale; a daughter, Lisa Durnin, Hillsdale; three sons, Paul W. Durnin, Independence, John N. Durnin, Lafayette, and Raymond Durnin, Metairie; four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Silbernagel, Hillsdale, Mrs. E. J. Courtney and Mrs. T. E. Davis, both of Amite, and Mrs. Matthew Smith, Greensberg; a brother, Norman Durnin, Hillsdale; and four grandchildren.
