Stephen E. Chaplain, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1963 in New Orleans, LA and has lived in River Ridge, LA since 1968. After graduating from Archbishop Rommel High School in 1981, he joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was employed in electrical construction for 19 years and electrical maintenance for 11 years.
Stephen is survived by his son, StephenE. Chaplain, Jr.; his granddaughter. Gracelynn A. Chaplain, his parents, Albert C. Chaplain, Jr. and Joan Silbernagel Chaplain, his siblings, Gwynne Chaplain, Albert Chaplain (Cheryl), Beth Myer (Wayne), and David Chaplain and his nieces and nephews, Sydney, John.
Lindsey, Olivia and Emma.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 7118 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan, LA 70123 on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11 00 AM Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
