His wife is 50 year old Sarah Hayes, born October 1949 in Pennsylvania, as were her parents. They have been married 21 years and had 2 children, 1 still living. Mamie Hayes is their 19 year old daughter, born August 1880 in Pennsylvania.

Her father was George Hayes, her mother was Elizabeth Powell, both of Chester county, Pennsylvania. Cause of death was angina pectoris. Burial to take place May 1, 1929 in Hephzibah cemetery.
