Mr. Robert Van Horn, 72, dies in Illinois April 21
Mr. Robert Van Horn, 72, of Heyworth, Ill., formely of Russellville, died Sunday, Apil 21. 1991, in the Clinton County Hospital in Albany. He was the father-in-law of Junior Deason, former pastor of Bethel Methodist and O'Roark Methodist in Logan County. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Van Horn was a son of the late Chester and Jessie Hayes Van Horn and was born Sept. 13, 1918
in Heyworth. Ill. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and of Local 649 in Peoria, Ill.
The funeral was scheduled at the United Methodist Church in Haywoood Thursday at 10 a.m., with full
military rites at the Heyworth Cemetery. Visitation was held at Sanders Funeral Home Tuesday night.
Surviving are one son, Robert Van Horn of Rockport, Texas; two daughters, Rita Deason of Albany and Kim Montgomery of Martinsville, Ill.; one brother, Donald Van Horn of Bloomington, Ill.; two sisters, Margerie King of Heyworth and Dorothy Cole of Hammond, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
