John L. Tetlow, a college security guard, died of a heart attack Saturday at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was 58. Mr. Tetlow born in New Orleans and lived in Slidell many years. Survivors include his wife, Nina Denton Tetlow ; two sons, Ty and John Tetlow Jr.; four daughters, Shawn, Shannon, Lisa and Laurie Tetlow ; two brothers, Joseph Allen Tetlow and L. Mulry Tetlow ; and a sister, Anne Elizabeth Gaudin. Services will be private. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
