Dr. L. B. Hudson's third child, Benjamin Dudley Hudson, by 1860 had gone forth to make his fortune, i.e. married Eliza B. Terrell (b. 1844; d. January 26, 1925) and settled near Horse Cave, Ky. He, too, died of tuberculosis. They had three children: Nannie Belle Hudson (b. August 19, 1859; d. November 14, 1934); Elizabeth Hudson (b. December 21, 1862; d. March 4, 1938); and Robert Lee Hudson (b. 1864; d. March 30, 1925).

A. Nannie Belle Hudson married Elias Francis Richardson (b. July 12, 1856; d. December 30, 1929) on June 25, 1885. They are buried at Buffalo, Ky. They had three children: Enrico Richardson (b. May 4, 1886); Elizabeth Lee Richardson (b. Novrember 14, 1888); and Clarence Hudson Richardson (b. July 21, 1890; d. March 13, 1955). Nannie Belle was a graduate of a college near Louisville, Ky. (possibly Eminence Junior College?). Elias F. Richardson was a Penman, graduating from a college in Valparaiso, Indiana. His drawing took first prize at the World's Fair.

B: Elizabeth Hudson married James Lee Bridwell (b. June 17, 1863; d. March 16, 1940), on December 12, 1888. She was born in Barren County, Ky.; he, in Spencer County, Ky. She was a graduate of Liberty College, Ky. They were Baptists and Democrats. They had two daughters: Aileen Elizabeth Bridwell (b. January 25, 1890) and Lucille Hudson Bridwell (b. July 5, 1891). Mr. & Mrs. Bridwell are buried in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ky.
1. Aileen is a graduate of a Bardstown school. She married Jacob Morris Coots (b. February 15, 1884; d. February 8, 1934) on December 21, 1910. They had two children: Lucile Bridwell Coots (b. June 10, 1912) and Jacob Morris Coots, Jr. (b. December 2, 1917). The first was born in Shelby County; the second at Shelbyville, Ky. Mrs. Coots, Sr. lives in the Forman Building, Taylorsville, Ky. Mr. Coots is buried in the Shelbyville Cemetery.
a. Lucile B. Coots is a graduate of Georgetown College. She married J. Porter Taliaferro (b. 19 ?) on October 3, 1936.. She is a Baptist; he is a Christian. They live at 2226 Paterson St., Louisville, Ky. Her husband is a Georgetown graduate also.
b. Morris Coots, Jr., studied at Bryan-Stratton, Louisville. Oct. 10, 1940, he married Jean Allen Money, who studied at Eastern State College. He is a Democrat; she, a Republican. They are Baptists. They have one child: Robert Morris Coots (b. August 2, 1945). They live at Taylorsville, Ky.
2. Lucile Hudson Bridwell studied at Georetown College. She married 1. Edwin A. Reid (b. 1892; d. November 28, 1940) on July 2, 1910. They were Baptists and Democrats. He is buried in the Valley Cemetery at Taylorsville, Ky. She was born in Spencer County, Ky. On September 16, 1950 she married Robert R. Robertson (b. 1897), a graduate of Center College, a Presbyterian, and an Independent. They live on Rt. 1, Anchorage, Ky.
