Herbert H. Phillips, 60, of the Rugby Apartments, 112 Gray Ave, died this morning at his home. He was a native of Littleton, N. H., and was a resident of Syracuse for the past 12 years
Mr. Phillips, who was supervisor of maintenance for Western Union in Syracuse, was graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BS. degree in electrical engineering. He was a veteran of World War
I, serving in France with the A.E.F.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estelle Hayes Phillips; two daughters, Mrs. William L Kasting of Buffalo and Mrs. M. E. Ladaret of Syracuse; his father Olin K. Phillips of Littleton, N.H.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the John C. Tindal Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
