ASHER, ADA HOOVER FELDER

Died Friday, Nov. 6, 1992, at her residence in Hammond. She was 77, a resident of Hammond and a native of the Ponchatoula and Hammond area. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and after 8 a.m. Sunday. Religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel, conducted by Dr. Roy Stebbins. Entombment in Greenlawn Mausoleum.

Survived by husband, George Matt Asher, Hammond; a stepson, Jim Asher, Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Margie Hyde McWilliams and Eula Mae Kennedy Selleck, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Edwin L. Hoover Sr., Robert; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by first husband, Rufus G. Felder ; parents, Francois Alonzo and Cecile Adele Ballam Hoover; five sisters, Orastien Marie Hoover, Zelma Elizabeth Griffin, Lily Marie Robison, Stella Mary Willoughby and Thelma Marie Bebeau; and three brothers, Hilton J. Hoover Sr., Leon J. Hoover and Will Ed "Allen" Hoover.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hoover, Hilton Hoover Jr., Edwin Hoover Jr., Lester Felder , Jim Asher, Harold Asher, Mack Dickson and Roger Asher. Honorary pallbearers are John Selleck, Edward C.Bebeau, Dr. Wendell Robison, Ralph Kratochvil, Kenneth McCumsey, Kirk G. Hyde, Scott Willoughby, David Bebeau, Dr. Charles Bebeau, Dr. Nathan Forrest, Otto Kraft, Carlton Stafford, Dr. Ben Asher, Grant F. Asher, Dill B. Asher, T.J. Asher, Meed M.
