ELYMIRA GRIFFIN FUSSELL
Funeral services were conducted at Madisonville Wednesday, June 21, for Mrs. Elymira Griffin Fussell. who was called by the Angel of Death to her happy reward on Tuesday, June 20. She was born at Abita Springs December 2, 1870, and had been a resident of Madisonville for eighteen years.
She was the wife of the late Colbert Fussell and leaves seven children from the union to mourn her passing, three sons, Louis, Archie and Ralph, and four daughters, Mrs. Adnel Tyson, Mrs. John Glass, Mrs. Jos. Clifton and Mrs. John Clifton, besides one brother, Alfred Griffin; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rev. Ben, of the Holiness faith and a life-long friend, officiated at the last rites, and interment was made in the Davis cemetery, Abita Springs.
