Rites Slated Today for Robert C. Durnin
Robert C. Durnin, 70, of 759 Laurel St., died at 5:30 a. m. yesterday at Baton Rouge General hospital following an extended illness. A resident of the city for the past nine years, Durnin was formerly of Amite.
Funeral services will be held at Rabenhorst funeral home at 3 p. m. today. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial park.
Durnin is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Trilby Morgan of Baton Rouge; two sons, Robert E. and Winston, both of Baton Rouge; five brothers, John, Victor, Henry, Hilton and Alec, all of Amite; four sisters, Mrs. Lily Morgan, Mrs. Ella Thompson, Mrs. May Thompson and Mrs. Alice Robertson, all of Amite. and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
