Lora Hagen Robbins, a homemaker, died Saturday of a stroke at Canon Hospice. Mrs. Robbins was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and lived in Chateau de Notre Dame. She had attended Sophie B. Wright High School. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served on the parish council during the restoration of the church. She was a member of the Come, Lord Jesus! prayer group of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Friends of St. Anna's. She was a member of the New Orleans Garden Club. Survivors include her son, George P. Robbins III; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be said Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bultman Funeral Home, 3338 St. Charles Ave. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
