PENNVILLE - Services for Jay County resident William Bryan Guard, 98, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Pennville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery.
Calling will be 3-8 p.m. today at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
Mr. Guard died Tuesday at his home at 4443 Ind. 1 after a long illness.
He was a retired farmer and was a director of Farm Bureau for many years. and was a member of Pennville United Methodist Church. Mr. Guard lived in Dearbom County until moving to Penn Township.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ruth Blasdel Guard; a son, Delmar Lee Guard (wife: Mary Beth); two daughters, Pauline Daugherty (husband:William) and Laverne Long (husband: Mikel): a sister. Naomi
Heiskell: nine grandchildren. and 12 great-grandchildren.
