Robert Leonard Guerin Sr.,a retired bookkeeper, died Monday at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 77. Mr. Guerin was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for 25 years. He was a member of American Association of Retired Persons Chapter 2624. Survivors include his wife, Helena Silbernagel Guerin; a daughter, Joan Reilly; a sister, Clare Moynan; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass will be said Thursday at 1:15 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

As for Dad being a twin, it is correct. Dad was the sick one and the doctors said he may not live long, instead Roberta died. Back in those days a lot of baby's died very young. They lost two other children as baby. It was before Dad was born. The Henry must have been a typo. His father and brother were named Henry.
