ANTHON, ALFRED Died at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday at Seventh Ward General Hospital in Hammond. He was 84, a
resident of Springfield and a native of Hammond. He was a former principal and teacher at Hammond, Albany and Springfield schools. Body to be at Thomas Funeral Home in Hammond after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Vernis Wolfe. Burial in Carter Cemetery in Springfield.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ravis Brown of Metairie; a son, Orion Richardson Anthon of Springfield; two brothers, Lauris Anthon of Dallas, Tex., and L. C. Anthon of Hammond, and four grandchildren. He was
a member of the Church of God of Abrahamic Faith in Hammond.
