Died 1:35 p.m. Sunday at St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg. He had been a resident of Greensburg for the past three years and was formerly of Baton Rouge. He was 60 and a native of Greensburg. He was a retired Humble Oil Co. employe.
The body will be at the Welsh Funeral Home in Baton Rouge where religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Willie V. Cothern. Burial will be in Green Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers
are Bill McGehee Jr., Clarence Rohner, Jack Herbert Jr., John Durnin Jr., Terry Durnin and Jerry Durnin. Survivors are his wife, the former Minnie Breechean, his mother, Mrs. Anna Davis Durnin of Greensburg; one daughter, Mrs. S. C. Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge; four grandsons, Mike, Terry, Rickey and Chuck Thibodeaux; three sisters, Mrs. Leon Rohner of Greensburg, Mrs. Bill McGehee of Zachary, Mrs. Jack Herbert of Hammond; three brothers, John Durnin of Watson, Arnold Durnin of Greensburg and A. K. Durnin of Baton Rouge, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. Calling hours at the funeral home will be after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
