MARY LOU GOBLE November 7, 1915 - June 9, 2018
MARY LOU (Williams) GOBLE, of Edgewater Place in Plain City, Ohio died June 9, 2018. She was born Nov. 7, 1915 in Centerville, Texas to Layne and Ola Williams. She married Jake C. Goble Dec. 8, 1943 in Bay City, Texas. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2002. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Jean and Gary Watson of London, Ohio; Barbara Ann and O. K. Van Slett of Charleston, SC.; stepson, Jack Goble of Enon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Paula Williams both in Texas, and dear friends including Marilyn Gannon, of Murphysboro, Illinois.
Mary Lou lived happily in Murphysboro in the family home for many years. She enjoyed being with people, was sweet, resilient, strong, independent, and a woman that loved life. She will be missed and remembered by her many friends and family.
A visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 161 W.) Plain City where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday with Mary Lou's grandson, Philip Watson officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and nurses aids at Edgewater Place for the loving care they provided Mary Lou. We also thank Loving Care Hospice for their assistance.

Service
