STATE LEGISLATOR TAKES A BRIDE
J. R. Morgan of lndianapolis, Weds Greensfork Girl.
At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Bond, south of Greensfork today took place the wedding of J. R. Morgan and Miss Edith Bond. Mr. Morgan is a well known Indianapolis attorney. He has been a member of the state legislature from Marion county and is prominently identified with the leading politicians of the capital city. Miss Bond is well known in this city, where she has visiited frequently. Miss Clara Myrick and other local friends attended the wedding. The ceremony was performed amid a floral bower out of doors.

The marriage of Miss Edith A. Bond, daughter of Abner D. Bond. to Mr. Joseph R. Morgan, of Indianapolis, occurred Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the beautiful home of the bride's father, one mile south of Greensfork. Previous to the service a program of bridal music was played by an orchestra. followed by a solo by Miss Louise Millikan of New Castle. While the Lohengrin wedding march was being played the bride and her father proceeded to the yard and were met at the front of the house by the bridegroom, and the Rev. Mr. Philputt of the Central Christlan church of lndianapolis. The ring ceremony was used. The bride wore a gown of white silk batiste and point lace over white taffeta and carried a large bouquet of cream roses, tied with white chiffon ribbon.
After the ceremony a two course luncheon was served to the guests by a cateress. The front parlor was effectively embellished with cream roses, while in the back parlor and dining room pink roses were used in profusion. From the doorway into the dining room was suspended a large white wedding bell. Among the out-of-town guests were: Miss Louise Millikan, Mr. Roy Peed, Mrs. Peed of New Castle, Mrs. W. S. Kaufman, Miss Marie Kaufman, Miss Reba
Stutson, Miss Alva Mustard, Miss Foster, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Harris of this city, with several from Hagerstown, Cambridge City and Williamsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan left for a wedding journey of several weeks. The "at home" announcement is for after September first. The bride's going away gown was of old rose rajah silk. Mrs. Morgan is a popular young woman of this county. Mr. Morgan is an attorney at Indianapolis and is well known in polical circles, having served as representative of Marion county for two years.

Mrs. Edith Morgan Dies At Greensfork

Mrs. Edith Bond Morgan, 80 years old, member of a pioneer Wayne County family, died yesterday in her home here. She had been in ill health several years.
She was the widow of Joseph R. Morgan, an Indianapolis attorney.
She was a member of Central Christian Church in Indianapolis and had attended Earlham College.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Howard and Sons Funeral Home at Cambridge City. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at Centerville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Survivors include a son, Abner B. Morgan of Greensfork; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Golay of Cambridge City, and a grandson.
