PIONEER DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
Abner Bond, of Green's Fork, 88, Succumbs at Green's Fork Home
GREEN'S FORK. Ind., Jan. 8. \emdash Abner Bond, 88, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of this community, died at 4:25 o'clock this afternoon at his home, a half mile south of Green's Fork.
Although he had been in failing health during the winter, his death was entirely unexpected and came as
a shock to his family and many friends. He was taken seriously ill at noon and grew steadily worse until the time of his death.
Mr. Bond was a member of the Christian church. He had been a farmer all his life. He is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Maude Milliken and Mrs. Joseph Morgan, at whose home he died, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Paul Lewis of Williamsburg. and Forest Jones, who is residing in a western state.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
