Per Obituary in the Times-Picayune 11/28/1914 (right side of page poorly scanned, below is what I can read)
SILBERNAGEL -- On Friday, Nov., 27, 1914, at 4 o'clock a. m., JOHN L. SILBERNAGEL, beloved husband of Annie Heitz, wife of 3 years, a native of New Orleans.
The relatives, friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited to the funeral, which will take place on Nov. 30, 1914, at 3 o'clock p. m., at the late residence of the deceased, [illegible] Bartholomew street.
Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
Medical:
Possible article on John recovering from Yellow Fever in the Times-icayune 11/4/1897. Titled THE LAST RALLY OF THE FEVER HERE, the article lists dead, seriously ill and recovered victims. Among the discharges as well is John Silbernagle, 1129 Clouet.
