HEYWORTH (PNS) \emdash Frederick .W. Schmidt, 81, of 302 W. Oak St. died at 7:56 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 16, 1983) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stensel-Calvert-Belangee Funeral Home, the
Rev. Charles Hale officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 18, 1902, at Hudson, a son of Henry and Martha Langhoff Schmidt. He married Dora N. Yanney Dec. 26. 1925, at Bloomington. She survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Martha Lamb, Bloomington.
A brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mr. Schmidt worked several years for the Texas Empire Pipeline Co. of Heyworth and was
a retired mechanic and bus driver for Heyworth's Unit 4 School District.
He was a member of the Heyworth Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, Heyworth.
