HELENA SILBERNAGEL GUERIN
Helena Silbernagel Guerin, a retired sales associate for Sears, Roebuck and Co., died Monday at East Jefferson General Hospital. She was 83. Mrs. Guerin was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 30 years. She worked for Sears for 21 years. She was a member of American Association of Retired Persons Chapter No.2624. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Guerin Reilly; a sister, Evelyn LeBlanc; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
