Survived by wife, Birdie Hodges Richardson , Springfield; five daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Jennie Rebecca) Pearson, Mrs. James (Eva Gayle) Lott, Mrs. Bobby (Virginia Ann "V.A.") Bourn, and Mrs. Raymond (Jessie) Roberts Jr., all of Springfield, and Mrs. Donald (Luella Lois) Resetar, Albany; six sons, Ralph Murphy, Isaac "Ike" Singletary, Edmond Omar and Phillip Kemp Lawrence Richardson , all of Springfield, John Paul Richardson , Chesbrough, and Ronald Russell Richardson , Holden; three sisters, Jessie R. McKigney, Springfield, Gladys R. Treece, Denham Springs, and Esther Richardson , Hammond; a brother, Murphy Richardson , Baton Rouge; 34 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a number of nieces; and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Mr. & Mrs. Isaac Richardson ; a daughter, Gladys Irene Richardson ; two sons, Phillip and Carl Bray Richardson ; a brother, Llewellyn Richardson ; and six sisters, Lasca Bankston, Edith Bankston, Lois Kennedy, Virginia Anzalone, Velma Kennedy and Laura Mae Downing.
