Leslie Henry Perschall, on Sunday, January 20, 2002 at 9:58 p.m. Age 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Maria Clesi Perschall. Father of Leslie J. Perschall, Raymond C. Perschall, Kenneth L. Perschall, Jerilynn P. Honenan, Robert F. Perschall, Warren F. Perschall, Barry A. Perschall and Diane Perschall. Son of the late Frank X. Perschall and Caroline Silbernagel Perschall. Brother of Louis J. Perschall, Iris Perschall Marquez, the late Clement F. Perschall, Sr., Frank H. Perschall and Althea P. Graf. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass.

Leslie Henry Perschall, a retired auto mechanic, died Sunday of heart failure at his home. He was 85. Mr. Perschall was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and a graduate of Delgado Trade School. He was a former employee of Consolidated Aircraft and was a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and IGO. Survivors include six sons, Leslie J., Raymond C., Kenneth L., Robert F., Warren F., and Barry A. Perschall; two daughters, Jerilynn P. Honenan and Diane Perschall; a brother, Louis J. Perschall; a sister, Iris Perschall Marquez; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
