C. G. MULHERIN
A native of Lafayette who was reared here, Charles G. Mulherin, 60, of 516 E. Parkland St., Evansville, died Friday at 6:45 p.m. in Deaconess Hospital there.
He was born in Lafayette, and attended St. Mary Catholic School and graduated from Jefferson High School. He was married to Mary Margaret Miller of Lafayette who survives.
Mr. Mulherin graduated with the 1933 class at Purdue University. He was a retired colonel from World War II and a recipient of the Silver Star medal.
He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Evansville. He had been employed at Briggs, Chrysler and Arkala companies and was chief. engineer for Shawnee Plastics.
Surviving with the widow are a son, Thomas G. Mulherin of Evansville, and three sisters, Miss Margaret Mulherin of Washington, .D.C.. Mrs. Adrianna Brillmayer of Rye. N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Crowe of Eden, N.Y.
Services were Tuesday in Evansville.
