WOOD-BURNERS
Aubrey and Roy jenkins are advertising the availablility of wood-burning heaters and wood-burning fireplace inserts that can heat your home. The products are available at their Fireside Gallery, 2201 N. Thomas, across from the Town and Country Shopping Center in Hammond. Delivery and installation in the metro area are offered.
The heaters are updated, tight versions of Franklin stoves, priced from $289 to $800. Roy Jenkins says the wood-burning stoves can heat from 1000 to 2500 square feet and weigh between 250 and 500 pounds.
The fireplace inserts slide into existing fireplaces to create air-tight heating systems that close off the chimney and heat the house. Price range: $499 to $1000.
The Fireside Gallery is open from 9 to 6 daily. Call 542-5491.
