Lucy Cecilia Lentz Bruno died on Sunday, April 03, 2005 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Age 92 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for the past 38 years. Mrs. Bruno was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Bruno, Sr.; her parents, Edward F. Lentz and Lucy Hope Lentz; three brothers, Edward, George and John Lentz; three sisters, Helen Pecoul, Wilhelmina Hudson and Mary Lentz. Survivors include a daughter, Lucy Bruno Tetlow ; a son, Martin Bruno, Jr., and his wife, Eileen; seven grandchildren, Laurie Tetlow , Lisa Tetlow , John Tetlow , Jr. and his wife, Renee', Kimberly Bruno Edison, her husband, Joe, Martin "Tony" Bruno III, and his wife, Tracie, Jennifer Bruno Johnsen, her husband, Eric and Christopher Bruno; three great grandchildren, Matthew Tetlow , Tyler Bruno and Hannah Edison. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bruno was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor and was a member of St. Edward Hilltoppers and P.A.L.S. Relatives and friends of Danny & Clyde's, the City of Slidell, teachers of St. Tammany Parish and Sabine Parish School Systems, St. Joseph Nursing Home, D.H. Holmes, Kenner Fire Department, U.S.D.A., and the Kenner Police Department are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2005 from 9:30 AM until time of service. Lucy Cecilia Lentz Bruno, a homemaker and former sales associate with D.H. Holmes Department Store, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. She was 92. Mrs. Bruno was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 38 years. She was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Edward Hilltoppers. Survivors include a son, Martin Bruno Jr.; a daughter, Lucy B. Tetlow ; three brothers, Edward, John and George Lentz; two sisters, Helen Pecoul and Wilhermina Hudson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 2 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
