Edward J. Lehmann , a retired office manager for Dixie Machine, died Thursday. He was 78. Mr. Lehmann was born in New Orleans and lived in Terrytown for 27 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 175, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6640 and the Terrytown Golden Age Club. Survivors include his wife, Leonore "Cleo" Doyle Lehmann ; two sons, Edward G. and David P. Lehmann ; two daughters, Peggy L. Lubrano and Jane L. Henson; three brothers, Merlin , Charles and Harold Lehmann ; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until Mass time. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
