Bob Hayes Has April Wedding in Verdun
   Mr. and Mrs. Franz C. Kruger, of Gross-Kolzig, Land Brandenburg, Germany, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Edith. to, Pfc. Robert C. Hayes,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton B. Hayes, 627 Ludlow street at Verdun, France last April 12.
   The official French ceremony was performed by the Mayor of Verdun.  Witnesses of the ceremony were Mr. Andre Legay and Sgt. John D. Field, trombonist and drummer, respectively, in the 118th Army Band.
   At the American church ceremony at the Maginot Caserne Chapel, Sgt. Field was the best man and Mr. Legay gave the bride away in the absence of the
bride's father. The ceremony was performed by Lt. Col. Albert Smith, Army Chaplain. Sgt. Russell Maddox played the organ.
   A recording of the ceremony was made by M/Sgt. James Jackson, and will be sent to Mr. and Mrs. Hayes.
   Others in the wedding party were Mrs. Legay, Mrs. Nanette Paffoni, and Miss Sophi Mund. A wedding dinner was served at the Hotel Cloche D'or.
   Pfc. Hayes, stationed overseas for the past two years and in Verdun for the last year, expects to be home this Fall.
