BAZILE, FREDDIE

A resident and native of Springfield, he died Friday, April 1, 2005, at his home. He was 93. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 3, and after 8 a.m. Monday, April 4, until religious service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Billie Kennedy. Interment in Carter
Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters, Marie Rodriguez, Ponchatoula, Janice Landry, Springfield, and Linda Triche, Ponchatoula; three sons, Freddie J. Bazile, Baptist, Michael Bazile, Ponchatoula, and Mervin J. Bazile, Springfield; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mable Gill, Albany. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Melina St. Cyr Bazile; wife, Maudie Rushing Bazile; grandson, Mervin Bazile Jr.; two brothers, Joe and Tony Bazile; and five sisters, Josephine Richardson, Mary Richardson, Louise Richardson, Hazel Rushing and Elizabeth St. Cyr.
