LaFontaine, on Saturday, January 5, 1974 at 4:05 o'clock o.m.; husband of the late Carmelitta Silva; father of Mrs. Norma Voivedich and the late Norman Thomas LaFontaine; brother of Raymond R. LaFontaine and the late Joseph I. LaFontaine and August LaFontaine, Mrs. Hazel Hardegen and Mrs. Thelma Herdegen, and Mrs. Florence Werle; also survived by 6 grandchildren: Lisa and Paul Velvedich, Cynthia Ann, Denise, Linda and Dennis LaFontaine.
Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of Local No. 1418-1419 Longshore Workers Union and employees of T. Smith and Son, are invited to attend the funeral from the Gentilly Home of Thorp - Sontheimer-Laudumiey, 5001 Chef menteur Hwy, on Tuesday January 8, 1974 at 11 o'clock a.m. followed by Requiem Mass at Ressurection of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery.
