PEORIA -- Mary Louise Goostree, 79, of 114 E. Melbourne died at 2:19 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 1999, at Proctor Hospital.
Born March 1, 1920, in Peoria to Carl and Catherine Gilhuly Koehler, she married Eugene "Guy" Goostree on Dec. 27, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Feb. 5, 1998, in Peoria.
One sister, one brother, one infant daughter and one infant son also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon Theinert of Peoria; two brothers, Frank Koehler of Naples, Fla., and John "Jack" Koehler of Peoria; one sister, Marge Hucal of Peoria; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was a bookkeeper and cashier for Thompson Food Basket for 22 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Big 25 Sportsman's Club in Victoria.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. Paul Isom will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday and one hour before services, both at the mortuary. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
