CHURCH TO CONDUCT INSTALLATION RITE
Ordination and installation of three elders and installation of the newly elected board of trustees of the First Street Presbyterian church will be conducted in connection with the regular morning service at 10:30 a. m. Sunday at the church, 819 First street. The Rev. A. M. Schneider, pastor, will preside.
Elders to be inducted include Louis Earhart Kissgen, Robert Lincks, and Douglas Booth. Elders from other Presbyterian churches are invited to attend. Members of the new board of trustees are Peter J. Kissgen, Charles A. Rein, Fred Zimmerman, Charles Maumus, Adam Daubert, Calvin E. Kissgen and Howell Switzer.
The topic of Rev. Mr. schneider's sermon will be "Set Apart." Midweek prayer service will be conducted at 7:45 p. m. Wednesday.

Louis Earhart Kissgen. On Tuesday, February 9, 1988 at 6:50 P.M. Beloved husband Vera Swan Kissgen, Brother of Calvin E., Val E. Kissgen and the late Peter E. Kissgen. Son of the late Rosa Anna Earhart Kissgen and Peter J. Kissgen. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Age 78 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Jefferson, LA for 40 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, Magazine at Philip on Thursday, February 11, 1988 at 12:30 P.M. Interment in Lafayette No. 2 Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 A.M. Thursday.

Louis Earhart Kissgen, a retired manager of finance and auditing for New Orleans Public Service Inc., died Tuesday at St. Charles General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 78. Mr. Kissgen, a native of New Orleans and graduate of Tulane University, was a chief petty officer in the Navy in World War II. He was treasurer and board member of the Covenant and Bethany homes, and an elder in Jefferson Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Vera Swan Kissgen, and two brothers, Calvin E. and Val E. Kissgen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 2241 Magazine St. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery No. 2.
