   Marengo friends learned this week of the marriage of Earl Hulette to Miss Edna Terry of Shreveport, La., which occured the fore-part of last week. The couple are now making their home at the New Lawrence hotel in Chicago.
   Mr. Hulette is a graduate of the Marengo Community High school and is  engaged in a musical career.

. Clarence Earl (Jim) Hulett, 85, of Waco died Tuesday, April 28 at a local hospital. No services are
scheduled at this time.
Mr. Hulett was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Marengo, Ill. He attended college and received a bachelor's degree of music while in Illinois. He then moved to Beaumont, Texas, where he worked as a band leader for Jim Hulett's Orchestra. He later became an electrician and was employed by the Union Oil Co. until retirement. He retired in the Lake Toledo Bend area.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Patricia Runnels, and sister, Ruth Tanner.
Survivors include his wife, Lura Edna Hulett; a daughter, Ruth Ann Galeano and husband, Dr. Jose Galeano; a brother-in-law, Leroy Terry and Wife, Mary Jane; grandchildren, John Hulett Runnels, James Runnels, Helen Runnels Connelly, Rebecca Runnels, Alexandra Runnels, Kathryn Kloesel Dunn, Koby Kloesel Shell and Joanna Lynne Dewald; and 11 great-grandchildren.
