BANKSTON , TULLY EDWARD

Died Friday, May 15, 1992, at Highland Park Hospital, Covington. He was 70, a native and resident of Albany. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 8 a.m. to noon Sunday. Visiting at Bethlehem Baptist Church 1 p.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Alton Foster. Burial in Bankston Cemetery.

Survived by two sons, Tully Bankston Jr. and Billy Ray Bankston , both of Albany; a brother, Carter Bankston , Springfield; grandchildren, Florence Miley, Independence, Annette and Paulette Carter, both of Ponchatoula, Johnny and Paul Lachney, both of Albany, Melinda, Leslie, Jacob Sim and Brent Allan Bankston , all of Albany; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, Sim and Florence Kirby Bankston ; five brothers, DeWitt, Bennie, Hollis, Woodrow and Alcess Bankston ; and two sisters, Shirley and Girly Bankston .
