Dr. Lynn Banks Hudson's second child was a school teacher when he was 21. He married Catherine Champion and soon moved to Tennessee. His uncle, Washington B. Hudson, had settled near Wesley's Bend. He enlisted in a Confederate regiment, was commissioned, then transferred to a Kentucky outfit after he came up there on a raid. Both he and his brother, William Butler Hudson, were in General John H. Morgan's command. Lytle was shot and killed in a political argument. He left six children: Henry Champion Hudson (b. 1861; d. ? ); Jessie Hudson, (b. 1864; d. October 1954 in Florida); Lytle Royston Hudson, Jr. (b. 18 ?, d. ?); James Hudson (b. 18 ?, d. ?); Morgan Hudson (b. 18 ?, d. ?); Guy Hudson (b. 1883; f ?). Two of the children were killed accidentally early in life.
