Mr. Truett G. Bankston
HAMMOND \emdash Funeral services for Truett George Bankston, 59, will be held at 1 pm. Friday in the chapel
of Thomas Funeral Home here with burial in Bankston Cemetery.
Mr. Bankston, a resident of Opelousas and native of Albany. died at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday in Doctors' Hospital of Opelousas.
Survivors include his wife, the former Maxine Rambin of Opelousas; his mother, Mrs. Ester Bankston Holden of Albany; a daughter, Wynette McDonald of Baton Rouge; a son, David K. Bankston of Baton Rouge: a stepson. Dennis K. Benoit of Dallas, Tex.; two sisters. Theresa Miller of Port Neches, Tex.. and Annie Alack of Hammond; five grand-children and three step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-10 p.m. Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home of Hammond, which is in charge of
arrangements.
