Mary Lou Hayes Obituary
November 26, 1934 - May 13, 2017
Mary Lou Hayes (Hubbard) - Age 82 passed on to be with her Lord in West Chester, Ohio on May 13, 2017 due to complications from ALS. She was one of 10 children born to James and Ada Hubbard of Crab Orchard, KY.

Mary Lou was the loving and devoted wife of Enos Hayes for over 62 years. She was the selfless and caring mother to her 6 children: Leah (Carl) Lataille, Cindy (Ron) Kohorst, Enos Evan II (Tracy), Viki (Blanche) Moolman, Guy (Candy), Adam (Kathy). Loving Grandmother to 12 grandchildren; Elisabeth Glass, Scarlett Hayes, Grant Hayes, Leo W. Glass II, Vincent Glass, Mary Baker, Savanna Hayes, Keenan Hayes, Enisa Hayes, Ciera Hayes, Adam Alexander Hayes and Matthew Hayes along with 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her dear sisters JoAnn Tritten, Colleen Carrier, Christine Howell, and Linda Keith, along with her loving brother Robert Hubbard. Mary Lou's beloved siblings preceding her in death are Kathryn Goens, Helen (Josie) Cox, J. Paul Hubbard and Harold Hubbard. With so many siblings, she has many nieces and nephews who are very dear to her heart.

As a military wife of a 20 year veteran of The United States Air Force, she often filled the role of 'single parent' during her husband's numerous assignments across the globe lasting for spans of weeks, months and even up to nearly a year in length. Mary Lou was a very selfless, humble, courageous, strong and devoted mother to her family, as well as being a warm, kind and sincere woman to countless friends and neighbors.

Mary Lou loved writing letters to her many friends from around the world that they met through their travels in the Air Force; even keeping in touch with friends from her childhood in Kentucky. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading about gardening, history, politics, and especially her precious Bible. She sewed clothing for special occasions for her children when they were young. She loved to collect seashells, walking on the beach, as well as quilting in her 'grandmother' years. Most of all, she enjoyed all the wonders of having so many grandchildren, step grandchildren and step children as well. She always welcomed anyone into her home.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Montgomery Community Church, 11251 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249; Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon.
