HORN-HAAB
Miss Yvonne Velma Haab, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam M. Haab, Coden, Ala., formerly of Biloxi, became the bride of Jesse Eugene Horn, son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Leslie Horn, Bayou La Batre, Ala., Tuesday evening at the First Methodist Church, Bayou La Batre, Ala.
Rev. Grayson performed the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father the bride was attired in a gown of white chantilly lace over satin which featured a fitted bodice with long lace sleeves ending in points over the wrists. Her fingertip veil of illusion
was held in place by a small cap of seed pearls.
Mrs. George Schambeau played the traditional wedding marches and accompanied Robert Graham, soloist, at the organ.
Mrs. Jerry Brown, Biloxi. served as matron of honor with Miss Sharon Haab, Coden, Ala., and Miss Yvonne Peters, Bayou La Batre, Ala., as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Misses Patricia Horn, Bayou La Batre, Ala., and Deborah Horn, Pascagoula.
Porter Tillman acted as best man and John Ladnier and Wade Bosarge, all of Bayou La Batre, were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony a reception for the newly married couple was held in the church recreation hall. The bride's circular table was centered with a three tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. On each side of the cake were crystal candelabra holding lighted white tapers, encircled with fern. Miss Marie Anberson presided at the bride's register.
Mr. and Mrs. Horn left for a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination following the reception. For traveling Mrs. Horn chose a black linen two piece dress with white collar and cuffs, and black accessories. They will be at home in Bayou La Batre, Ala.
