CHESTER E. HIXSON

Mr. Chester E. Hixson passed away at his home in Cedar township on Friday, February 28, 1919, at the age of 31 years, 3 months and 13 days, after a brief illness with influenza and pneumonia.

Funeral services were held at the Bethel church on Sunday forenoon at 11 o'clock, followed by interment in the Bethel cemetery.

Chester Ellsworth Hixson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hixson, was born in Lucas county, Iowa, on January 15, 1888. He was united in marriage to Cleora Long on October 7, 1909.

To this union four children were born, Pearl, Ruth, Robert and Myrle, who, with their mother survive, and will have the sympathy of innumerable friends in their grief. Deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew him, and his demise is deplored by all.
