HEITZ - On Monday, March 31, 1913 at 7:45 o'clock p.m., LEONARD HEITZ, beloved husband of Anna Ulrich, aged 63 years, a native of Alcace, France.
The relatives, friends and acquaintances of the family, also the officers and members of the Firemen's Charitable and Benevolent Association and Washington Benevolent Association, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place This (Wednesday) Afternoon, at 3:30 o'clock, from the late residence of the deceased, No. 1125 Clouet Street, near Marias Street.

LEONARD HEITZ
Retired Merchant Dies Suddenly at His Third District Home
Leonard Heitz, aged 63 years, 1123 Clouet, a resident of the Third District for over fifty years, died suddenly Monday night following a brief illness. On Monday Mr. Heitz, not feeling well, called on a physician, and he succombed at his home shortly afterwards. He was a native of Alsace, France, and came to New Orleans when but a young man.
He conducted a grocery store at the corner of Bartholomew and Rampart for a number of years, later becoming the proprietor of a feed store at the same address. Some eight months ago Mr. Heitz retired. He is survived by his wife and five children, Mrs. H. Hayes, Mrs. Annie SIlbernagel, Mrs. F. Nunnamacher, Joseph and Michael Heitz.
Deceased was a member of the Fireman's Benevolent Association. The funeral will take place this afternoon from his late residence and interment will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery.
