Miss Virginia Hayes
Acute pneumonia is given as the cause of death of Miss Virgina Hayes, aged 18, which occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hayes, on Garfield avenue, Saturday afternoon at 4:45.
Deceased was born October 24, 1899. She had been an invalid all of her life. She was a member of the Wilbur Friends church. Surviving her are her parents, one sister, Miss Lillian Hayes, of Cleveland, and one brother, Donald Hayes, of the Walter Reed army hospital, Washington, D. C.
Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the late home, according to the Friends service, after which interment was in the Friends cemetery, Depot street.
Among those from out-of-town in attendance at the funeral were Mrs. Lizzie M. Smith and daughter, of Harrisville, Donald Hayes, of Washington, D. C., Miss Lillian Hayes, of Cleveland, and M. M. Thomas, of Morrestown, Pa.
